Family Home, Redland
This project involved the complete refurbishment of a Victorian period property in Redland. Beginning with an initial strip-out, the house had to be re-wired and re-plumbed ahead of the installation of: new bathroom suites with travertine tiling and non-slip altro flooring; a new sauna; a new fitted kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, granite worktops and a central island; double-glazed, powder-coated aluminium windows; a hidden GRP Flat Roof; and a contemporary powder-coated aluminium dining room extension- complete with a lead roof and an electric roof lantern. Following the completion of these items, redecorating could begin. This included: fitting engineered wood flooring; reviving the mosaic entrance lobby floor; stripping back and re-polishing the mahogany bannister and balustrade; restoring the feature marble fireplace; plaster repairs to cornices and decorative wall coverings; fitting of central roses; wallpapering; dado panelling; and painting.
